Why should I clear Cache and Cookies?
Cache and Cookies are parts of files, images and other temporary data created by a website when you visit. This helps the site to load even faster on your next visit! This temporary data may change if the site is updated. Occasionally clearing this data allows for fresh images and data to load and eliminate possible errors or other issues you may experience.
Before you begin, save all usernames and passwords. We are asking your browser to remove prior data that may prevent proper loading of the site, and this includes AutoFill usernames and passwords. Although it makes browsing easier, cookies are usually the culprit of website issues especially when other websites are working properly!
If you choose the clear cache only option it will not remove your passwords!
How do I clear Cache and Cookies?
Make sure all windows and tabs are closed except the one page that you need to clear cache and cookies. Make sure that one page is on the home screen of your internet browser (Chrome or Safari) and not on the PatientsLikeMe site.
If you are still having trouble accessing our site after clearing the cache and cookies, always confirm that your device has the correct date and time, and that it is up to date with the latest software for your device. If it is up to date then restart your computer or smartphone. It is always recommended to restart your device at least once a week.
