Below we’ll review the different badges on PLM and what they mean to the community:
You can recognize PatientsLikeMe staff with this badge. Staff from our Community and Member Support teams often share resources and conversation starters in the social spaces on PatientsLikeMe. Got questions or feedback? Click on their profile to send them a message!
PatientsLikeMe launched the Community Leaders program to recognize members who are known in the community for educating and uplifting others through sharing their experiences. Community Leaders are knowledgeable and friendly, helpful faces around the community that love being on PatientsLikeMe. They regularly connect with staff and help provide feedback on the PLM platform. We encourage you to get to know our Community Leaders! If you see them around the site, be sure to introduce yourself!
The Caregiver badge represents that you are the caretaker for a loved one. This helps other community caregivers easily identify each other so they can connect. You can add or remove the Caregiver badge from your account settings here. Be sure to visit the Caregivers Community for resources and discussions dedicated to the caregiving experience.
Coaches are official health and wellness partners on PatientsLikeMe. Coaches offer resources and discussions tailored to topics of their specialty. To check out some coach led discussions, head to the Chronic Pain Community.
Collaborators on PatientsLikeMe are specialty content creators that are supporting the community. They create different types of educational content which is shared on PatientsLikeMe and on PatientsLikeMe’s social media.
The TOA Alumni badge indicates that a member participated in the Team of Advisors program in the past. The Team of Advisors were an innovative patient group that worked directly with PatientsLikeMe on a range of projects, raising their voices to highlight the patient experience and to empower other members. The Team of Advisors program is currently paused, but we continue to recognize the dedication and hard work of past Advisors with this badge.
