Are there advertisements on PatientsLikeMe? 

Yes. PatientsLikeMe displays advertisements on our site.  Our advertising partners are intended to provide visitors to PLM with access to education, tools, treatments, services and other content that is relevant to the PLM experience. 

Where are the ads on the PatientsLikeMe site? 

Currently, advertisements are only located on specific pages on PatientsLikeMe, including, but not limited to the PLM Blog and condition reports. 

Does PLM share my personal information with advertising partners?

No. PatientsLikeMe will never share your personal information without your consent. You can review the Privacy Policy here. However, note that once you interact with an advertisement and move away from the PatientsLikeMe site or mobile application, your data may be collected by other parties and is not protected by the PatientsLikeMe Privacy Policy.

Are there advertising cookies on PatientsLikeMe? 

Yes. You can opt out of ad-related cookies in the PatientsLikeMe cookie consent manager or through your browser’s settings menu.  If you opt out of ad-related cookies, you will see still see ads in the designated space on PatientsLikeMe, but they may not be personalized to you. Am I protected by the PatientsLikeMe Privacy Policy when accessing offers from advertisements on PatientsLikeMe?  

No. The PatientsLikeMe Privacy Policy is only valid for the PatientsLikeMe.com website and mobile application. Once you interact with an advertisement, or visit another website, such as one of our advertisers or partners, you are subject to that website’s privacy policy.
