The mobile app is meant to act more as a companion to PatientsLikeMe.com, so not all features from the full website are integrated. The app is great for updating your health and staying connected with the community, and we're working to give you more control of your profile here, without having to go through your device's web browser. Here’s a walkthrough of the app features on each tab:
Community: This is where you can post an update and see posts from others with your condition and others you're following. We'll also post content from our moderators here, too.
Me: You can do a lot on this tab! You can record a DailyMe and MonthlyMe entry which is listed in your ‘To do’ list.
You can click the calendar icon in the top corner to update and track your health:
- Click Treatment check-in to add, change and evaluate your treatments
- To make daily and monthly updates click on the MonthlyMe and DailyMe check-ins
- Click Symptom Check-in to add new symptoms or update severity
*Note you can click the chart icons to see your changes over time
Back on the Me screen, you can click the gear icon to access your account settings and notifications.
Messages: The third tab on the bottom of your app is the Messages tab. When you tap here, you’ll see any notifications on your PatientsLikeMe account. This includes comments, reactions, and private messages.
