You can add any and all condition(s) to your profile by clicking on My Conditions in the menu bar on the left hand side of your My Health page. Once you click through to your My Conditions page, you'll see a text box that says "Add a condition" next to it. In this box, you can search for your condition and browse for existing ones. If your condition does not appear in our drop down search results, you can request it be added by clicking on your "Submit a request to add it" link at the bottom of your drop-down list. A member of the PatientsLikeMe Health Data Integrity team will review your request and add it to our global condition list. You will receive a private message when this process has been completed, and you will then be able to add details and monitor that condition.
Editing your existing Conditions:
To make changes to your condition, click the button with three 'dots' to the right of the condition. You have several options here to keep your conditions current, and we'll go over the most common in the menu here.
You can choose to make a condition your primary condition in the drop down menu. Your primary condition is the one you want to focus on the most and/or has the biggest impact on your health. Your primary condition will appear in the header of your profile. You can change your primary condition at any time by clicking on your menu button next to the appropriate condition and selecting 'Make this my primary condition' as shown in the picture below.
You can click stop monitoring a condition if it is not something you are actively monitoring with your doctor and that condition will be moved to the bottom of the page.
You can delete a condition from your profile if it was a mistake from this menu as well. If you delete a condition, any data previously entered for that condition can't be used for research.
We suggest using "Condition resolved" or "Diagnosis changed" if your doctor has changed your condition or considers it resolved.
