Taking a picture of exactly what you see on your computer or mobile device is a Screenshot or Screen Capture. Screenshots are great for capturing issues you'd like to share with our team. We'll breakdown the most common devices and how to take screenshots below:
Using iPhone:

Press the *Side button + the Volume Up button, at the same time then quickly release
or
-
Press the *Side button + the **Home button, at the same time then quickly release
To access the screenshot, you will see a copy of the photo in the lower-left corner which you can tap to access or slide to remove. You can also access a copy by clicking Photos, then go to Albums. Click Media Types, then Screenshots.
Using iPad:
-
Press the *Side button + any Volume button, at the same time then quickly release
or
-
Press the *Side button + the **Home button, at the same time then quickly release
To access the screenshot, you will see a copy of the photo in the lower-left corner which you can tap to access or slide to remove. You can also access a copy by clicking Photos, then Albums. Click Screenshots.
*The Side button may be located on the right side of the iPhone/iPad or the top edge of the device
**The Home button is located directly on your touch screen at the bottom, it is also known as the Touch ID or Finger ID button
Using MAC:

Press the Command key + Shift + the number 3 key, at the same time then quickly release
or

Press the Command key + Shift + the number 4 key, drag to select the area you would like to capture with your mouse or trackpad. Release to take the screenshot

Hold the Space Bar if you need to move your selection. Press ESC (escape key) to cancel

To access the screenshot, you will see a copy of the photo in the corner of the screen which you can access. You can also access a copy once the photo has been saved to the Desktop.
Using Android:

Press the Power button + the Volume Down button, at the same time then quickly release
or

Press and hold the Power button
or

Press the Sleep/Wake button + the Volume Down button, at the same time then quickly release
or

Access Quick Settings by dragging down the Status Bar that includes your Date/Time and Notifications. Next slide down the Quick Settings menu that includes your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. Scroll the settings to find Take Screenshot and press.
To access the screenshot, you will see a copy of the photo at the bottom of the screen which you can access or edit. You can also access a copy by clicking Gallery, then Albums. Click Screenshots.
Using Windows:

Press the Windows Logo Key + PrtSc, at the same time then quickly release
or

Press the Windows Logo Key + PrtScrn, at the same time then quickly release
or

Press FN + the Windows Logo Key + Space Bar, at the same time then quickly release
or

Press the Windows Logo Key + Shift + S, the screen will darken and allow you to select an area for your screenshot
To access the screenshot, you want to navigate to your computer files, known as File Explorer, next click Pictures. You will see a list of available folders, you want to access the Screenshots folder as shown below:
Screenshots can be a great tool, especially when troubleshooting issues or errors. To send a screenshot to PatientsLikeMe Support, start by clicking the Help button located at the bottom right corner of a PLM screen. Click 'leave us a message' and enter a detailed description about your screenshot. Finally click 'Add file from device' in the attachments section and locate the screenshot in your files or photo gallery.
